September 14th Filaisms

When Isabel and I got to Fila's this morning, Phoenix was already there and playing on a blanket in the living room. Fila put Isabel down on the blanket and said that they "play" together very well. Here they are (please excuse the crappy quality of the next few photos - they were taken with my BlackBerry):




We were talking about how Phoenix is already crawling (they're only 2 weeks apart in age) because he's so skinny and Fila said that Isabel "está estacionada porque tiene colota de negra!" (translation: Isabel is parked because she has a big booty like a black woman!) Oh my, Fila. ;)

Isabel gets tired of being on her tummy so Fila sits her up with pillows around her in case she tips over. She's much steadier sitting by herself in the past week, but still falls backwards or sideways sometimes. Anyway, when Isabel is lying back on the pillows, Fila says she's "relajando como un gringo pensionado!" (translation: relaxing like a retired white person!) Here is my little gringa pensionada:
